Social Media Projects
We at Madras Inherited are dedicated to making history and heritage accessible and engaging for everyone. Our social media projects are specifically designed to delve into local stories and historical narratives, presenting a unique and often lesser-known perspective of the city.
Our aim is to bring these overlooked aspects of our urban history to a wider audience, fostering a deeper appreciation and understanding of our rich cultural legacy.
An endeavour to capture the journeys of the people who make Madras. Join us as we travel through the stories of the city's citizens.
Kadaigalin Kadhaigal
The streets of Madras are a witness to abundant history carried forward by a diverse group of establishments. The old establishments in and around the city might not always be active members on social media like you and me. They rest comfortably and watch the city grow and transform, probably headed by a generation that is extremely skilled with years of practice and experience. Introducing 'Kadaigalin Kadhaigal', a social media project that will touch upon the history of these old establishments and focus on their role in the changing times. Keep watching this space as we unravel these precious gems from around our city.
